So…in a clocktower con a couple of years ago a few STs ran the largest game ever, a 40 player bmr. Essentially you take a twenty player game, and multiply it by two.

Well I wanted to do that here because apparently I hate myself subjecting myself to longtext wraith (which will be run again 😄) and now this. My goal is to beat the hydras game (sorry Batu) in terms of size because backpackers do not count as players in this! This is a true 40 player game, in that everyone has a role (although some will be travellers) and everyone will either win or lose.

Specifics (following this guide https://old.reddit.com/r/BloodOnTheClocktower/comments/1c4hbef/grim_from_40_person_bmr_game_finished_in_two/kzqbjk9/):
Base count = half the number of players base * 2: e.g. 40 player game would be 18 / 4 / 6 / 2 + 10 travellers.

Each role is in the bag from 0 to 2 times.

Demons know 3 minions each and do not know each other, although the minions know both demons and all minions.

Bluffs include roles that are in play from 0 to 1 times and do not overlap unless the role is in the bag 0 times.

Travellers in play will include (up to 2 each to a max of 10):

Apprentice
Judge
Gnome 1/?
Gangster 1/?
Beggar
Scapegoat

I used canva to make a 28 player townsquare manually iirc. You’d definitely need 2 different town square apps or browsers to track the grimoires during the game though.

The easiest way is definitely 2 townsquares on 2 different browsers and using “2 town squares”

The last time I was the goon I got a minion to out to me so I started playing for evil … then immediately got the demon exed while still good because they were bluffing a choosing role

Last time I was goon it was teensy, demon and minion didn’t know each other, I immediately turned evil (Pukka), found the demon d1 (didn’t tell them though), then told them d2, managed everything.
Turned good the night into f3 (we would’ve been THREE EVILS in f3), nominated the demon and won as good, I was saddened I wanted to play as evil so bad lol
