Bootlegger rule: The Storyteller has the Bishop ability.

I designed this script after an idea where bishop would be an interesting traveler with Leviathan. Often times in Leviathan games the first few days can feel stale knowing that most players would not want to risk an execution so early. By moving the nominations into the Storyteller's hands, the hope is to create a more engaging round of voting and nominations during the game. If you find the Bishop rule to be too daunting, feel free to remove it. The script should play fine without the bootlegger rule.

Misinformation comes from madness, puzzlemaster, and Xaan (who can conceivably fire on any of the 5 nights). Poppygrower is here to encourage the evil team to use the bishop to help find their team.

As always, comments and feedback appreciated.

PG is brutal on this script

How so?

can’t die at night, and evil can’t even nominate them if they suspect they know who it is because of the bishop rule

I mean with Leviathan, Poppy Grower isn’t often being executed anyway. But

#

Though, is the Storytellee a Good Bishop?

#

Or ambiguous?

I thought that since the players no longer had the burden to nominate, they could be free to focus more on why certain nominations were occuring and create some meaningful discussion that way, particularly in the first few days.

nomination isn’t a burden tho, it’s how you try to win the game

#

i think it would be interesting if it’s a good bishop as I think the information part of bishop is the most interesting part

How would assigning an alignment help here?

#

bishops must have the ST nominate a player of their opposing alignment every day

#

so a good bishop means that in every day, at least one of the people nominated is evil

#

it provides info to town

#

instead of just being a hinderace to both teams

I can alter the bootlegger rule to say the ST should nominate at least one person from each alignment
