Demonic Traits: “The demon’s ability is modified based on a not in-play demon ability. You keep your ability if you are executed.”

Blacksmith: “If you were executed, tonight all Townsfolk become drunk until dusk.”

Intwaso: "If the Demon kills you, they die instead and you become the Demon."
Manipulator: "Each night choose a Townsfolk character; today each Outsider is mad that they are that character or they might be executed.[+1 Outsider]"
Cupid: “Each Night choose a player; every 2 players you choose will die together. They know that they are in a pair. [+1 Heartbreaker]”
Ghoul: “When you die, if the Demon killed you, all Townsfolk are poisoned until Dusk. [-1 Outsider]”
Demons:
Lemures: "Each night* choose a player; they die. The first time a Lemures gets executed by vote, the nominator becomes an Evil Lemures. (If 5 or more players are alive)"
Polterghast: "Each night*, choose a player: they die. Their good neighbors' yield false information until you act again."
Troupe Master: "Each night*, choose a player: they die. You know ? in-play characters. All players learn if you choose all & evil wins at dusk."
Clockwork: “Each night* choose a player, they die. Every 2 kills you may choose to change a previous kill. Resurrected townsfolk players that way are poisoned.”```

Bloodstar is a common place to put together characters outside of a full script pdf
Yh usually make my character tokens with it
But havent made those either

I recognize a handful, I’ll go through these properly and gather some feedback later
A lot of them are my first creations where I needed help with and well u helped
I have made a character like confessor before, and in my opinion they are just a shugenja upgrade
Yh pretty much but also people can easily misread and misunderstand something
The previous version of Auric picked 3 players and learned if the majority is Townsfolk the player chose 3 people and I said to the No the majority are not TOWNSFOLK :^ they instantly went with already demon minion

And it has no mechanical difference
it’s a pretty common trope
And that was its intention

Maniac thought into the final 3 that they are the minion
Good lost cause of that as there was only 2 evil and the maniac
also the ghoul just kinda feels bad for the person playing them
A minion whose only purpose is to get killed
Intwaso has same purpose
And poisons all Townsfolk :P
and yeah townsfolk are poisoned

But that still means the ghouls purposely was just to be a scapegoat
A minion that only works well with one demon is not a well designed minion
Like the minion works well if litterally all demons work with resurrection
It works well with all demons (which dont f up towns information globaly
And that’s the entire gimmick of the script
Well not for the ghoul who just dies
Idk feel like it has the good purpose of being able to f towns information well aswell as town cant tell at first sight when
Yeah it’s cool but it’s just a feelsbad for the minion
Meh maybe I can find a fix for it with my helping hand
Maybe just simply that it doesnt die the first Time they get killed
the outsider mod on it also seems very arbitrary

Ratcatcher seems strange to me, given how it’s drunkeness only matters for a single outsider

It stops blacksmith if it nominates and executes them, but it doesn’t really do anything for demonic traits unless nominated every day, and it and grump droison eachother at the exact same time, which is awkward
it’s not a very intuitive interaction
Getting Demonic Traits out is good tho? Who wants a modified demon
yes, but only if the ratcatcher is actively nominating the player every single day

Well if nominated by RC its clause of keeping the ability when executed is also disabled
that’s not how that works
at least as worded
in the same way that a recluse or puzzlemaster droisoned on death still keeps their ability when sobered up
either way, it still doesn’t do anything with grump because of how droison loops resolve, and doesn’t really do much with maniac
I mean a Grump only stays quiet if they wanna be a nuisance and Maniac yh :^
it’s still an ability that doesn’t feel like it meshes well with your outsider suite
I think it does atleast when reworded so it can stop DT
ratcatcher feels like it wants something closer to SnV
on death effects that it can defuse and a mutant that it can help safely out for a time
the other half is also tricky with Maniac
since you intend to show the Maniac the real-ish evil team most of the time, right?
Most likely the way u would treat a Lunatic
When I had the Maniac in a game told them the minion as their demon
I mean that’s not how I treat lunatics
but regardless, a maniac being executed and suddenly learning for a fact that they were the maniac, and that everyone they learned is evil, seems like it can blow up games very fast
which especially seems tricky when there isn’t really many ways for a Maniac to work out they’re good otherwise
you can work off of town’s info, but town is also incentivized to lie to try to get a real minion to think they’re a Maniac
(a dynamic I’m personally not a fan of but that’s besides the point)
How do u treat a Lunatic/would treat a Maniac
Barely storytelled games with either
a lunatic isn't really meant to be fooled the entire game, and the nature of lunatic means that even if it is fooled until the final day by a very enterprising evil team, on final day, the player most likely to be executed by the lunatic is the real demon
relatedly, Manipulator is also a way that the Maniac will immediately work out that they're the Maniac
because they'd be immediately told they need to be mad for it if it's in play
