I enjoy scriptbuilding and hope you will consider and enjoy my Lord of Typhon (LoT) script as part of the script-building competition.

Cattle Herding

This script is an infusion of Trouble Brewing (TB) into a LoT script (that being said, the other demons are still very valid options here). TB and LoT fit quite well together, because in my opinion a LoT-script requires ways to hide the voting line.
Using flashy minions will only reveal the demon's location and town can quickly zero in on a target. Trouble Brewing offers the quiet kind (only Baron is replaced by the Marionette, as it is mostly obsolete and no help to Kazali or LoT on this script).
Similarly, outsiders may want to hide from the potential Fang Gu, but their abilities all sow confusion until things are cleared up eventually.
Many Townsfolk abilities are all strong at detecting evil, but can fall foul of Evil bluffing and Outsider manipulations.
The key to finding the demon may not rely so much on the Outsider count, but will rely on watching for voting patterns, such as those hand drops distinctive to Legion and the herd of votes with LoT.
Have Fun!

Many thanks go to my BotC group, most importantly my Storyteller guide Tristan, without whom none of this would have been possible!

Advice on how to run characters:

General

  • consider neutral for any demon but Fang Gu (where Good may be slightly winning at start)
  • may be considered a more general Mathematician
  • consider how many types of Poison and drunkenness are in play to wreak havoc and whether minions (Marionette!) successfully hide the demon

Amnesiac

  • primarily consider abilities that detect Evil, sources of Droisoning and ways to determine Outsiders
  • Evil has nominated/killed Evil
  • "x" characters/character tokens' abilities have malfunctioned last night (incl. Marionette/Drunk)
  • "x" Outsiders from the start are no longer alive/in play (incl. removal by demons)

Savant

  • similar to the Amnesiac, such as Evil/Droisoning/Outsider detection (cf. above)
  • be kind to your Savant given lots of droisoning, provide powerful info if interpreted correctly

Fisherman

  • the power of the info should scale with game length
  • you may hint at which people to (mis-)trust, that Evil votes could outweigh Good, hint that the demon has gone unnoticed, etc.
  • (Mis-)Trust your neighbours/the upper part of the circle ("Your followers include black sheep")
  • Do not go to sleep ("Good may no longer wake from its slumber")
  • Consider other demon worlds ("The prime evil walks unseen")

Pixie

  • you may thing of the other starting roles or Fisherman, General and Savant (if your group can handle that) as good targets

Kazali

  • in 10+ player games you may want to consider neighbouring players on the other side of the Grim as minions to offer a LoT world

LoT

  • try to avoid exposing the power of your voting herd at all costs and hide it as long as possible
  • kill off your own minions when convenient (Marionette and Spy are quite disposable)
  • coordinate with whispering your neighbours, but avoid raising suspicion

Legion

  • use Pixie as means to hide double claims
  • claim Butler or trust in your Village Idiot circle to explain your voting behaviour
  • try to sell a LoT world by voting in a line that includes Good
