New Character - SCP-007 (Outsider)

If you would be killed whilst already dead, your team loses.

SCP-007 is an ordinary man with a tiny earth-like planet instead of an abdomen, filled with it's own tiny little people.

  • If SCP-007 would "die" again whilst already dead, their team loses the game.
  • Only when SCP-007 would actually for realsy bona fide be dead whilst already in the state of dead does SCP-007's lose condition occur, protections on SCP-007 will prevent this.

How to Run

If SCP-007 would "die" again whilst already dead, the game ends and their opposing team wins.

New Character - SCP-457 (Demon)

Each night after the 3rd, choose half of all living players: they die. Each night before that, choose a player: they might register as evil & an evil character.

SCP-457 is a constantly burning humanoid with a primitive instinct to burn everything to ashes.

  • On the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd night, SCP-457 chooses a player to possibly appear evil from now on.
  • This evil misregistration is exactly the same as how the Recluse's is run, with the exception that the affected player could very well be a Townsfolk and not an Outsider.
  • On the 4th night and beyond, SCP-457 begins the burndown - they choose half of all living players (rounded up) to die.
  • SCP-457 no longer chooses new players to misregister once they start killing players.
  • SCP-457 directly kills players in the order chosen and can only choose to kill living players.
#

How to Run

When preparing the first night, put SCP-457โ€™s NIGHT 1 reminder by SCP-457. When preparing the second night, put SCP-457โ€™s NIGHT 2 reminder by SCP-457. When preparing the third night, put SCP-457โ€™s NIGHT 3 reminder by SCP-457. When preparing the fourth night, put SCP-457's NIGHT 4+ reminder by SCP-457.

Each night, wake SCP-457.

If they are not marked with the NIGHT 4+ reminder, they point at any player. The chosen player might migregister by evil - put the RECLUSIVE reminder token by the chosen player's character token. Put SCP-457 to sleep. Each time a player marked RECLUSIVE is targeted by an ability that detects or affects evil characters, choose which character and alignment that player registers as. Do whatever is appropriate, such as showing an evil character token, nodding, giving finger signals, or allowing an ability to work that would normally only affect evil, Minion, or Demon players.

If they are marked with the NIGHT 4+ reminder, they point to half of all living players (rounded up), one at a time (if the player is unsure how many players they should be pointing to, you may also show the finger symbol for that number to help them out). Put SCP-457 to sleep. In the order chosen, each chosen player dies - mark them with DEAD reminders.

New Character - SCP-1875 (Demon)

You play Chess as black, all alive play white & must make 1 move per day. If a side loses, the team of its last player loses. If all Minions die, lose a piece.

SCP-1875 is a chess set possessed by a Russian chess prodigy's two daughters that don't like staying caged.

  • A chessboard is pulled out once SCP-1875 enters play and they immediately take the side of black.
  • All other living players represent white and each one must make a move per day (going back and forth between black & white).
  • SCP-1875 leaves their seat to take their position as chess player - they no longer register as a player, and thus cannot be made drunk, poisoned, nominated, or dead.
  • All players know when a living player makes a move for white.
  • If the white side loses, the team of the last player to control that side will lose.
  • If the black side loses, SCP-1875's team loses.
  • Checkmates will cause an immediate loss.
  • When all Minions die, SCP-1875 will lose a black piece (the Storyteller will choose which).
  • If all good players are dead, the evil team wins the game.
#

How to Run

When SCP-1875 receives their character token, declare that SCP-1875 is in play, and which player it is. Set up a chess board and move it to the space that isn't directly on the circle of players, then move SCP-1875 to that space.

SCP-1875 stops becoming an interact-able character - they can no longer vote or nominate, and they cannot be nominated, executed, drunkened, poisoned, or killed. However, SCP-1875 is still freely allowed to talk to other players as they see fit. Each time SCP-1875 is targeted by an ability that detects or affects characters, don't.

Each day, all living players must take a turn moving a white piece and beat black in Chess. If a player wants to make a move, let them interact with the chess board, and declare that the player is acting on behalf of white. Mark them with the LAST PLAYER reminder token, and wait for SCP-1875 to then make their move - note that all living players must make one (and only one) move.

If the white side loses, declare that the game ends and the team of the player marked LAST PLAYER loses. If the black side loses, declare that the game ends and SCP-1875's team loses.

If a Minion dies and no more Minions are left, SCP-1875 loses a chess piece - choose any remaining black chess piece on the board and remove it. If only the Black King remains as SCP-1875's last piece, it must be removed, which will cause SCP-1875 to lose.

If all good players are dead, declare that the game ends and the evil team wins.

New Character - SCP-2662 (Demon)

You win with good, have another Demon's ability, & cannot kill yourself. If all Minions publicly guess you are SCP-2662 & you're not about to die, evil wins.

SCP-2662 is an eldritch being that isn't interested in taking up the mantle of world-ending destroyer, rather content with playing video games & consuming online media.

  • SCP-2662 has the powers of a Demon, knows the evil team, and registers foremost as evil & the Demon, but is secretly colluding for the good team in their crusade & won't win with the evil team.
  • Even if the game ends by another character's ability, SCP-2662's victory is tied to the good team rather than the evil team.
  • Normal win conditions are in effect, with good winning on SCP-2662's death, and evil winning upon there being only 2 people left or the good team being left with no possible way to win.
  • If all Minions publicly come out as Minions to guess that the Demon is SCP-2662 (also naming who it is), the evil team wins.
  • If the guess is made whilst the Demon isn't actually SCP-2662, nothing happens (except the fact that the entire evil team is now publicly outed).
  • SCP-2662 cannot die to their own ability, but they are still free to attack themselves or corpses to waste any kills.
#

How to Run

While setting up the game, before putting character tokens in the bag, remove SCP-2662's token and add a Demon character token. Add SCP-2662's IS SCP-2662 reminder token to the Grimoire. Put the swapped Demon character token in the bag, not SCP-2662's character token.

While preparing the first night, put SCP-2662's IS SCP-2662 reminder token by the Demon character token, changing that player's character to SCP-2662. Whilst retaining the ability of another Demon, they win with the good team instead of the evil team.

If SCP-2662 would die to themselves, they remain alive.

At any time during the game (except if SCP-2662 is about to die by nomination & execution), if all Minions publicly guesses that the Demon is SCP-2662 whilst naming them and is correct, the game ends. Declare that the evil team wins.

If the game ends and the evil team would have won, declare that SCP-2662 isn't part of that win, and loses.

If the game ends and the good team would have won, declare that SCP-2662 is part of that win.

New Character - SCP-4955 (Demon)

Each night*, choose a player: they die. Minions think they are good characters & you control their actions.

SCP-4955 is a chef's knife that cannot be processed by any stimuli, nor their effects.

  • Minions will not know they are minions - they will receive a good character's character token during setup, and be assigned as a Minion by the Storyteller.
  • Minions do not have control of their actions - SCP-4955 will wake when a respective Minion would at night or consult the Storyteller during the day, and act on their behalf.
#

How to Run

While setting up the game, before putting character tokens in the bag, remove all Minion character tokens and add a Townsfolk or Outsider character tokens. For each Minion removed, add the SCP-4955's THINKS THEY ARE reminder token & the Minion character token to the Grimoire. Put the swapped Townsfolk or Outsider character token in the bag, not the Minion character token.

While preparing the first night, for each Minion token present, put SCP-4955's THINKS THEY ARE reminder token and a Minion character token by a Townsfolk or Outsider character token whilst adhering to the setup's character count, changing that player's character to that respective Minion. They are now that Minion, but think they are their previous Townsfolk or Outsider character and don't actually have that character's ability. Do not give them information on who the evil team is.

During the game, act as if Minions are actually the Townsfolk or Outsider character they think they are. If that character would wake to act at night, the Minion wakes to act. If their ability would give them information, you can give false information to them if you wish. See "Drunkenness and Poisoning" in the rulebook. If a Minion would normally wake at night to act, instead, wake SCP-4955, show them the YOU ARE info token, that Minion's character token, then let them perform the action on behalf of that Minion before putting them to sleep. Minion abilities that can be activated during the day instead can only be activated by SCP-4955.

Each night except the first, wake SCP-4955. They point at any player. That player dies - mark them with the DEAD reminder. Put SCP-4955 to sleep.

New Character - SCP-1981 (Demon)

A living evil 'is the Demon' & chooses a player each night*: they die unless there are โ‰ค2 living good & an evil died today. [This isn't in play, +1 Outsider]

SCP-1981 is an archived video tape of Ronald Reagan's 'Evil Empire' speech that deviates into madness & absurdity over multiple re-runs.

  • Whilst one evil player breathes air, there is always an active 'Demon' that upholds the evil team.
  • That 'Demon' is a random living evil player until their death, continuing until there are no living evil players left to stand.
  • In layman's terms, for good to win, the evil team must be completely eradicated as they can pick off someone each night.
  • SCP-1981 actually isn't in play, thus isn't an active character that can be affected, killed, poisoned, etc.
  • Kills the 'Demon' makes won't occur under the conditions that there are two or less good players alive, and an evil player died today.
#

How to Run

While setting up the game, before putting character tokens in the bag, remove SCP-1981's token and add a Outsider character token. Add SCP-1981's IS THE DEMON reminder token to the Grimoire. Put the swapped Outsider character token in the bag, not SCP-1981's character token. On the first night, skip the DEMON INFO step.

Place the IS THE DEMON reminder token by a living evil player's character token - when they die and there is at-least 1 more evil player, move the reminder token to their character token, otherwise, the evil team loses.

If an evil player dies during the day, mark them with the DIED TODAY reminder.

Each night except the first, wake the Demon player, show them the THIS CHARACTER SELECTED YOU info token, then SCP-1981's token. They point at any player. If an evil player isn't marked with the DIED TODAY reminder token or there are 3 or more good alive good players, that player dies - mark them with the DEAD reminder. Put SCP-1981 to sleep and remove the DIED TODAY reminder token if it is present.

Tip

[ Feel free to end the game prematurely in the scenario that the good team are left in a position in which they cannot win, that typically being when only 1 good player is left, thus they are unable to eliminate the evil team without reaching a stand-off of exactly 2 players. ]

Character change - Pestalgue (SCP-049)

-->
"Each night*, choose 2 players: 1 dies, the other becomes a not-in-play evil Minion you choose, unless theres 1+ extra evil. [1 Minion, +1 Outsider for each lost]"

Decided that -? to +? Outsiders screws with world-solving too much due to the arbitrary count, hindering both the good team and evil team.

#

Possible rework: Infernal
"Each night*, if the Storyteller believes your team is losing, choose a player: they die the next night."

"Each night*, for each Minion that died today or tonight, choose a player: they die the next night."

"Each night*, if the Storyteller believes your team is losing, choose a player: they die the next night."
-->
"Each night*,** for each non-Townsfolk teammate (or yourself) that died today or tonight, **choose a player: they die the next night."

The Infernal was a catch-up mechanic rolled into a character that couldn't find a place in any of my scripts due to its nature of making additional kills that would be unsolvable in death puzzle scripts and at worst, hindering in other types of scripts. This change makes the Infernal more consistent and reasonable to deal with as both good and evil.

-->
"A living evil 'is the Demon' & chooses a player each night*: they die unless there are โ‰ค2 living good & an evil died today. [+1 Minion not in evil team info]"

Eyeceue was made a Lil' Monsta alternative that mimiced the gameplay of Mafia/Town of Salem, but we was considerably too weak due to it taking away an evil player as a whole and also having confirmation properties with its addition of an Outsider. Rather than that, I changed it so it instead adds 1 blind Minion that won't know or be known by the evil team, which mimics the idea of Witchcons.

Overhauled Character - Knowledgeable (Townsfolk) --> Premonious (Outsider)

You start knowing how you'll die. If you avoid your fate, something bad might happen to your team.

The Premonious knows the worst knowledge any man can learn; how they will die.

  • The Premonious learns their given fate, and if they fail to oblige by it, it shoots you down and corrects your behaviour.
  • The fate given the Premonious may be as generic, specific, or even cryptic as the Storyteller wants.
  • This can include the how, why, when, who, and if playing in real life, maybe even where.
  • When this ending to your life is no longer possible, whether the conditions for it can no longer be met, or the Premonious has died outside of it, something bad immediately happens to the Premonious team.
  • This "something bad" can be whatever the Storyteller decides it to be, however tame or mild it comes out. Typically, however, the effects are usually public\or loud, such as death or character transformation.
  • Do note that the Premonious dieing outside of their fate does not immediately trigger the "something bad" should there still remain any possible way the Premonious can be resurrected.
  • Additionally, the Premonious cannot activate their ability when they're dead, only when as they are dieing concurrently, although effects from this may be delayed.

How to Run

During setup, decide the Premonious' fate of how they die and write it on a piece of paper, or on a phone.

During the first night, wake the Premonious. Show this phrase, then put them to sleep.

When the conditions for this event are no longer possible by any means, even as the Premonious is dieing, something bad happens to their team. You may need to mark players on their team with the SOMETHING BAD reminder, to remind you that they are now going to die tonight, or mad, or canโ€™t vote today, or simply as a reminder to decide on what to do later.

Reworked Character - Skin Peeler (Minion)

Dead marked characters retain their ability, even if you change characters. Once per game, choose to become the Demon & have deaths be arbitrary until tomorrow.

The Skin-Peeler (SCP-3114) is an animated skeleton that drapes the living with the skin of the dead - controlling life and death.

  • Certain dead characters, whether it be Outsider, Minion, or even Townsfolk or Demon, will hold onto their ability when they die.
  • The characters that will do this are indicated on the script by being marked with the Skin-Peeler's character icon.
  • Additionally, the Skin-Peeler has the ability to activate a corpse party, controlling death itself for a full night & day whilst they become the Demon.
  • The Skin-Peeler becoming the Demon does not de-activate their ability to let certain character's abilities persist from beyond the grave.
  • Deaths being arbitrary extends to during the day, where it can affect executions or other day deaths (like Slayer or Witch), and the next night before the Skin-Peeler would normally wake (albeit doesn't).
  • Typically, when the Skin-Peeler activates a corpse party, either them or the Demon will die before it ends, as there would otherwise be 2 Demons.
#

How to Run

On the script, place a mark on characters you want to have keep their ability on death. When they die for whatever reason, mark them with the HAS ABILITY reminder.

Each night except the first, if the Skin-Peeler is marked with the CORPSE PARTY reminder, deaths are no longer arbitrary - replace it with the ABILITY USED reminder (the Skin-Peeler won't wake again.) Otherwise, wake the Skin-Peeler. They either shake their head no or yes. Put the Skin-Peeler to sleep.

If the Skin-Peeler shook their head yes, they become the Demon & deaths until the Skin-Peeler would next wake are arbitrary - show them the YOU ARE info token, then the Demon token, then mark them with the CORPSE PARTY and WAS SKIN-PEELER reminder. You may choose any players to kill or to protect throughout the rest of the night, day, and first half of the upcoming night to balance the game. Additional deaths are considered attacks from the Skin-Peeler.

If the Skin-Peeler changes characters for whatever reason, also make them with the WAS SKIN-PEELER reminder.

Reworked Character - What Knife? (Demon)

Each night*, choose a player: they die. After day 3, you may publicly choose a living player: all other players choose if their team wins or loses.

SCP-4955 makes an accusation that their wielder is someone else.

  • Once Day 3 has come to dusk, the Demon may choose to publicly choose a living player at any time to accuse as their true master.
  • This public accusation can occur at any time, including the day, night, and even when the Demon is about to be executed.
  • When this occurs, everything else in the game stops, and all players then congregate on choosing if the accused will win or lose.
  • This choice is similar to the Fiddler, in that this disregards any vote modification, restrictions, or disruption, no one can use their abilities henceforth, and also that in a tie, the evil team wins.
  • The Demon is also free to never make this public accusation for whatever reason.

How to Run:

Each dusk, update the PAST DAY reminder for the What Knife?. If they're marked with the PAST DAY 2 reminder, replace it with the PAST DAY 3 reminder. If they're marked with the PAST DAY 1 reminder, replace it with the PAST DAY 2 reminder. If not marked at all with either, mark them with the PAST DAY 1 reminder.

Each night except the first, wake the What Knife?. They point at any player. That player dies - mark them with the DEAD reminder. Put the What Knife? to sleep.

At any time, the What Knife? may publicly choose a player. Declare that they are accused of being the true evil-doer. After a minute or two, run a โ€œvoteโ€ for that player to win the game (this is not an execution vote.) All players may vote, no matter what. If the majority of players vote in favour, their team wins, if not, their team loses, either way, the game ends. On a tie, the evil team wins, regardless of the player chosen.

Overhauled Character - Garafitti (Demon) --> Wallbehind (Minion)

Each night, a good player gets a question. If today's hasn't been answered correctly & a living evil is executed, they live but register as dead

The Wallbehind is living street art that hides not in the walls, but on the walls.

  • The Wallbehind is able to submerge an evil player into the walls should a designated good player fail to overcome it's attraction.
  • Any good player can learn today's question, including the living, dead, repeat targets, or new targets each time.
  • Typically, the Storyteller will only make the same good player get the question each time until they feel as though evil as winning.
  • The question the player gets should be about anything regarding the gamestate if it is reasonably answerable.
  • The good player who gets the question then has to answer it by the end of today, or any executed evil player will not actually die, but appear to be.
  • They can only answer it once that day, either publicly, or privately.
  • Evil players already feigning death cannot be protected by this ability again.
  • There is no feedback for answering a question right or wrong.
  • If the Wallbehind then dies whilst any evil player is registering as dead, those evil players do not suddenly die, and do not appear to be resurrected.
#

How to Run

Before each question you will give out, remember to write it on a piece of paper or on a phone.

Each night, wake any good player. Show them their question, move the BLINDSIGHTED reminder by their character token, and put them to sleep.

Once per day, when the good player marked with BLINDSIGHTED answers the question, either verbally, via text, publicly, or privately, register it. If it is correct, remove their BLINDSIGHTED reminder token.

If an evil player not marked with the HIDING reminder token is executed but BLINDSIGHTED reminder token still remains, they remain alive. Declare that they died, but do not add a shroud to that evil player (flip the life token on the Town Square, as normal.) From now on, that evil player registers as dead - mark them with the HIDING reminder token.

Reworked Character - Hammer Down (Townsfolk)

During the day, visit the Storyteller to add or remove any conditions. Whilst true, the 1st teammate to die by execution doesn't.

The Hammer Down is the [REDACTED] [REDACTED] ...tactical unit... [REDACTED] ...rescue operation... [REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED] ... last resort.

  • The Hammer Down tactically selects when they protect a teammate, or perhaps who they protect.
  • This does not regard by default the character type of who they protect, only that they are on the same alignment.
  • Until the Hammer Down has set down any conditions, no one will be protected by them.
  • The Hammer Down visits the Storyteller at their own discretion, and can do so as many times as they like during the day.
  • They may add any new conditions or remove any they set before to control the exact parameters on when or who they protect.
  • These conditions do not have to be specific to the player being executed, they may relate to anything provided it is definite and non-subjective.
  • This can include use of 'and' rules, 'or' rules, and 'exclusive-or/xor' rules.
  • Being drunk or poisoned does not inhibit how the Hammer Down can set their conditions.
  • However, if the 1st time a teammate was to die by execution whilst the Hammer Down's condition is active but is drunk or poisoned, they die whilst the Hammer Down loses their ability.
#

How to Run

During the day, for as many times as the Hammer Down wants, if the Hammer Down requests a private chat with you, take them away from the circle so you cannot be overheard. They may add or remove any conditions. Write the current set of conditions on a piece of paper. If prompted, show them what their current conditions are to remind them or clarify and confusion.

If the Hammer Down's conditions are true, they are not marked with the RESCUED reminder, and a player of the same alignment as them is about to die by execution, declare that the player was executed but remains alive (do not say why.) The Hammer Down will not protect anymore - mark them with the RESCUED reminder token.

Overhauled Character - Bloodnote (Minion) --> Orchestrator (Minion)

You start with a quest. If completed, you become a not-in-play Demon (all learn which) & 1 good player learns part of it.

The masterpiece... must... be *grk* finished... by... any means... po- *grk*... possible...

  • The Orchestrator starts with knowledge on how to complete their masterpiece, and their result is glorious...
  • Their quest for the ultimate music can be anything the Storyteller wants it to be, which can even include objectives that compromise their identity.
  • Additionally, the Orchestrator is unaware of how close they are too their objective - they are nearly blind in this aspect!
  • However, their reaped reward is the complete transformation into another Demon (that isn't in-play).
  • This comes with a cost however - all players learned which Demon came out of this demonic serenade.
  • Additionally, 1 good player with a musically-tuned ear will gain some knowledge on what this quest was in the first place.
  • Typically, the hint that the good player gains about the quest is about 1 to 3 words.
#

How to Run

During setup, write the quest on a piece of paper, or on a phone.

During the first night, wake the Orchestrator. Show this quest, then put them to sleep.

Track the Orchestrator's progress towards this quest. They may visit you to make guesses or your quest may wake them each night to choose a player. Regardless, as the Orchestrator makes progress, use their DO, RE, MI reminders if you need to.

Once the Orchestrator has completed their quest in full, replace the Orchestrator token with a Demon token that already isn't in-play, changing that player's character from the Orchestrator into that Demon. Afterwards, say "The Orchestrator has completed their masterpiece" or something similarly dramatic, and be sure to specify the not-in-play Demon that came out of it.

If you are in an environment that allows you to private message people anonymously (such as online), immediately message the Orchestrator what Demon they are, and message a good player a slight portion of the Orchestrator's quest.

If you are in an environment that doesn't allow you to privately message people anonymously (such as real life), mark the new Demon with the FASOLLATIDO reminder. That night, wake the Orchestrator-turned-Demon. Show them the YOU ARE info token, then their new Demon character token, then put them to sleep. If the quest was written on a piece of paper, find a way to obscure, cover, or limit visibility of most of the quest's text, or just write a slither of an existing part of it onto a new piece of paper. Wake a good player. Show them the remaining visible portion of the quest. Put the good player to sleep.

added alternative JSON sections for several characters. these are different JSONs/intrepetations of some characters with different balancing to them, due personal conflicts on trying to decide what is better to go for. they serve as a best of both worlds that allows script builders to pluck out the ones that fit for their script. alternative JSONs are for the following characters:

  • Pipe Maze (can die to other sources besides execution)
  • Shy Guy (no longer immortal to non-demon deaths)
  • Peanut (kills do not bypass protection)
  • Wallbehind (replaces feigning death with exe survival)
  • Prosecutor (cannot kill on the final night)
  • Skin-Peeler (does not have the secondary ability of letting dead marked characters keep their ability)
  • Eyeceue (uses 1 evil townsfolk instead of 1 blind minion and allows all evils to become the demon)
  • Accursed (the cursed players learns immediately what has happened or will happen to them. was previously on original version)
  • Two-Spirit (a demon who accepts the change might secretly not change at all. was previously on original version)
  • Hanged King (sober & healthy. was previously on original version)

Reworked Character: Shy-Guy

Each night*, choose a good player who chose you with their ability the previous night if you weren't killing: they die. You can only die to the Demon.

vvv

Each night*, choose a player who chose you with their ability since yesterday: they die.

This rework was done to distance the Shy-Guy from a hybrid-esqe character of killing and surviving attacks to a more simplier one that rampages more often at a cost of revealing themselves in the process. The older JSON/form of this still exists under the Alternative Section of the JSON.

Overhauled Character - Abdominal (Outsider) --> Abdominal (Townsfolk)

Good Townsfolk know you are the Abdominal. If you're dead by dawn, evil wins at dusk. You are sober & healthy. [+1 Outsider]

The Abdominal (SCP-007) has a world revolving in his abdomen, and thus the world revolves around him.

  • All Townsfolk have knowledge of who the Abdominal is.
  • This does not apply evil Townsfolk however.
  • When dawn rises, if the Abdominal is dead, the good team will lose come dusk unless they can win before then.
  • This must occur, considering the Abdominal can never be drunk or poisoned.

How to Run

While setting up the game, before putting character tokens in the bag, add one extra Outsider character token and remove one Townsfolk character token.

During the first night, wake a good Townsfolk. Show them the THIS PLAYER IS info token, then the Abdominal token, then point at the Abdominal player. Put the Townsfolk to sleep. Repeat this for each good Townsfolk.

At dawn, if the Abdominal is dead, mark them with the DOOMSDAY reminder token.

At dusk, if the Abdominal is marked with the DOOMSDAY reminder token, declare that the game ends and evil wins.

sinful shell
# radiant canyon So if you ever die & the Demon knows this, they can double tap you for the win

that and 2 other reasons:

  1. of all the other people i showed the older version to, no one expressed any excitement about it, and only 2 ppl expressed concern about it. although they had a right call imo, they had a hard time exactly discerning what made this character feel unfun to engage with other than a gut feeling. although, in retrospec, its a bit obvious; the old version had to keep up their charade beyond death, but compared to the heretic, the demon's call against any Abdominal bluff only wasted 1 kill at night, as opposed to the heretic forcing the demon to kill themselves to call said bluff.
  2. i later learned that the ability was accidentally using the ability of an unreleased homebrew character called the Martyr
#

even a triple or quadruple tap being needed wouldnt help, so idecided to rework it based off the wordplay of a 'revolving world'

It also just feels bad

either the ability is to easy to guess and you lose

it feels hard for them to make a balanced ability via drawing

it just feels like it could use a rework

Way Way WAY too specific

it'd have to go on a very particular script

131's +0 to +1 feels kind of tacked on

#

Premonious doesn't have a thingy for it's number in the almanac, though I can see it is 028

#

1 cause it is in the json and 2 cause I actually know this one

#

Also the use of "Something Bad" or "Something Good" is typically only ever used for travellers

it is too ambiguous

What's better than a conga line? A dead one!

New Character - Pinky (Townsfolk)

Once per game, at night*, you may choose to die and take your living neighbours with you. You can't kill a Demon as the only evil.

The Pinky goes off with a bang and takes their adjacent friends with them.

  • The Pinky can choose to die, and if so, takes their living neighbours with them at the same time.
  • The Pinky fails to drag down their living neighbours if they happen to be protected from death when using their ability.
  • If the Pinky somehow survives after using their ability, they can't use it again despite being alive.
  • If the Pinky would kill the Demon, they don't unless they are also successfully killing another evil player at the same time.
  • This can include the Pinky themselves if turned evil.

How to Run

Each night except the first, wake the Pinky. They either shake their head no or yes. Put the Pinky to sleep.

If the Pinky shook their head yes, they die - mark them with the DEAD reminder, the NO ABILITY reminder, and remove their night token from the night sheet. If the Pinky successfully has the DEAD reminder token applied to them, their living neighbours die - also mark them with the DEAD reminders. Do not mark the Demon with it unless at-least one other marked player is evil.

its not the most serious character on this collection

#

just wanted to make something tight and chaotic, cause thrill-seeking is just sometimes funny

#

even if the current pinky doesnt seem too good as a TF, i might change it so it can learn the alignment of what it kills, maybe?

#

not too sure myself

Are the .json texts for each character correct? In that case, could I create the file myself and transfer it here if I could?

Btw for someone to watch over us (4999 I believe), it could be a townsfolk that each night chooses 2 people (not the same in a row) and if they died that night, they learn their characters?

#

Rough concept, probably needs balancing

elder osprey
#

Are the jinxes in the almanac?

sinful shell
elder osprey
#

ok

#

Something like that?

sinful shell
#

smth like that ye

elder osprey
#

Is it complete or is it missing something?

sinful shell
#

id have to check, but i trust that you just absorbed all JSONs present in the almanac and plopped them in

elder osprey
#

Just in case, I asked someone for a favor since it was really hard for me xD

#

I mean, check it just in case.

sinful shell
#

all almanac JSONs are the most up to date, and if i can secure some more testing, ill then make a final master JSON

sinful shell
elder osprey
#

I mean, I already opened it in the game and it works, but I don't know if it's missing something, besides the name and the link.

Conservus (SCP-1715) (Outsider) - You start knowing part of a sentence, 1 Minion knows the other. If you publicly say it, become that evil Minion.
