how is eris good at all?
and how the heck is demeter like, useful at all? it's literlaly, just learn arbitrary info each day.
I was going for a savant like character who gets only one piece of info so it's harder to tell if it's true or not
instead of making it arbitrary then id say have their be some sort of condition. like if X it's true if y it's false.
"Each night* choose a player; they die. Minions decide who hold the "Golden Apple" that player becomes the demon if Eris dies."
Is that better
no no im asking, what was the intention for eris?
like, what are you tryin gto do with the character?
I know it sounds convoluted but I'm trying to make it work with the lore
I just thought it'd be a cool idea but I noticed a couple of flaws after reading the message
In the land of myths and monsters... I was an angel
Also Lotus Eater should state "until dusk"
If something is until dusk, it should be listed, as otherwise it's permanent
I think that pokes as something important/imo a script shouldnt be designed character by character or, just because it's neat. but should be designed comprehensively. with the interactions between characters and the roles the character types and character fill being something you actively think about
it could be reworded to, "if a good player is chosen they choose 2 players, if not the demon they die"
or something
so it is actually good
cause rn the mechanically good choice is to choose themselves
to then chosoe a player to die
medusa is immedietly outed
which is not good
and makes solving stuff way easier
same with cerberus
which is quite outed when it triggers
only 1 other thing being able to do the same
hades dionysus suffers from the same
cause hades here feels quite weak
maybe make apate more trackable, either every other night all neighbours of an evil player recieve false info
or make it all nights
that happens
artemis is really weak
they are like a huntsman
but way weaker
and pandora is not even close to dangerous enough to require a huntsman like
and can just be exeucted d1 if needed
there is very little roles the evil really need to know
alethia feels very bad if it doesnt learn a demon bluff
and if it does learn one it's brutal for evil
if they bluff the learned character
dionysus feels really strong or really weak depending on interpretation
if it chosen player learns they have been chosen by dionysus its really strong
and makes hades way weaker
if its not, then its super weak, since madness might be broken immedietly accidentally
eros and athena feel super strong compared to the previously stated roles
like artemiss which is like almost detrimental
zeus could we worded to that player cannot malfunction or become mad, which would make it immune to apate, though it feels really weak, since there is not that much things that make them poisoned, and half doesnt even trigger on them
helios is incredibly strong, to the point were it should almost always be shown themselves making it bad, most storytellers will work around not showing the same player to much, this just confirms good players a lot and very strongly
could at least be made into the player the storyteller thinks is the most valuable to one team
or something
and not good player
so it can learn others as well
demeter needs to be more trackable, possibly saying, at the start of the game a player is marked by you, each day learn a true statement, if the marked player dies it is false instead
or something
so it flips after a bit
previous demeter is really really weak
cause for the storyteller to actually tell stuff is really hard, they would basically have to offer solves
that the player could think about to see if it sounds real
cause it doesnt learn anything
savant is useful cause you know exactly 1 statement is true
and is trus trackable
this needs to be telling you very specific stuff that you can think about if it could be true
hermes is quite strong in confirming people
but not to bad
better than useless
apollo is like balloonist
but not the drawback
that balloonist has
which makes it incredibly strong and dangerous
probably strongest role here
cause it just says the demon is one of 4 players
poseidon just confirms itself
and has an otherwise really negligble ability
since very few abilities interact with seating
cyclops is a tf
can just out being the cyclops
if the st executes them they are confirmed
as achilles is worded you choose more people each night, so the choices stick around which i think is a positve tbf
hera is interesting
moirai is outed quite easily
cronus is quite loud as well
which is probably the biggest problem i have here
most stuff is really loud
and doesnt change the game up to much with being loud
so tracking demon type and stuff will be quite easy
