The Chain

The Chain is a script including only info-gathering townsfolk, leading to town easily forming trust circles. However, with a spy, mezepholes, and plenty of poisoning, evil can easily work their way in the confirmation chains.

It's also a relatively beginner-friendly custom, with the only odd roles being the cannibal, lycanthrope, and Lil' Monsta.

I'd love to have some feedback, as I'd like to try running it soon.

Only problems I have with the script are that with a lil monsta, all minions are in play, a vortox could be really interesting imo, and the grandmother is confirmable, as that is the only source of 2 night kills

I agree grandma should go; I had gambler, godfather, and a couple other things originally but it doesn't fit with the current version. I think Pixie might make sense as a replacement, though I guess knight could work, or king/choirboy if I wanted to cut something (maybe juggler).

Vortox is an interesting idea, but I feel like it would get found out instantly. When librarian or washerwoman has no one claim the role they saw it's a dead giveaway, plus the nightwatchman's power is very obvious if it's a vortox game.

With Vortox you can show the Librarian a Drunk between the wrong 2 people. Or show a Klutz, which people might not want to out.

night watchman is a mechanical ability, pretty sure vortox doesn't affect it

If there is a Vortox in play, wake the player the Nightwatchman chose, then show that player the relevant tokens and point to any player except the Nightwatchman.

Replaced Golem with Barber, Grandma with Pixie, and Cerenovus with Scarlet Woman. I wanted less roles that can be hard confirmed.

one of my players keeps asking for a Lleech script and I think they've got some familiarity with most of the characters here already
