When Are Spring 2026 Schedules Finalized?
Technically it's Feb. 1st, but you lose money if you drop a class after January 25th. You might get charged a $25 fee for swapping classes after the 25th.
The practical answer, though, is that the schedule is finalized when the classes fill up. If you need a course that's full maybe someone will drop and maybe someone won't.
i see
thank you
is it okay if i ask another question in this thread
or do i have to make a new thread
you just asked another question: "is it okay if i ask another question in this thread?"
well... 😅
I would say it's possible, but kururin might decide to come in and post something weird if you do
i'll just take that as a yes then
anyhow my problem is as follows:
i have 2 classes i'm waitlisted for and, according to navigate at least, my academic advisor has 0 open positions all month. i emailed him twice throughout the last week but i got no responses.
my question is is there anything i can do about this, like trying to search for backup classes (if there's any even available) or seeing if i could possibly talk to another academic advisor or something...
what position on waitlist
i tried to check but apparenly cunyfirst is down rn
iirc it was like 9 and 14, something like that
oooh yikes
:/
that's what it says. could it be a lie? possibly.
lol
well that sounds pretty good
i'll join in on monday then
thank you very much!
Search for backups
Advisors have no actual control over your schedule
hm
Look for anything that fulfils gen eds even if it's some really dumb filler class
