#FAFSA/TAP as Freshman with 9 credits

So I was originally supposed to have 5 classes in my schedule for the Fall semester, but ended up with only 3 because I already had credits for one of them through AP, and one class was apparently full so it got automatically removed somehow. I wanted to add more classes but as a freshman I wasn't able to make any changes without an "advisor" although I didn't have an appointed advisor at the time.

Unfortunately I'm only recently learning that I need to be taking at least 12 credits per semester to be considered a "full-time" student and be eligible for most financial aids. So now I'm a little scared; will I not be eligible for financial aid for this next semester? I'm trying to take the max of 17.5 credits for the Spring semester to try and make up for what I missed before.

Also if it makes any difference, I have 18 transfer credits from my high school through AP, so at the end of this Fall semester I should be at 27 credits total.

But as soon you meet full time req you would get fafsa money

This semester you might have to pay out of pocket

I was hoping the transfer credits would make a difference but I assume the 12 credits need to be while I'm in Hunter?
