Question I’m currently taking calculus 2 and I’m concerned, if I did good in the first 3 exams would it matter if I fail the final? Does failing the final mean immediately failing the entire class even though I did well in the other exams? Is it the same for other classes?

have you looked at your class syllabus

check how much your final exam is worth

It’s worth 2 exams

#

There is also a worst exam grade get dropped system

If the worst is the Final then it would only be considered as 1 exam

based of what you said was mentioned on the syllabus doesnt sound like it however you can always confirm it w your prof

Look at the exam weights

#

and calculate your %'s using the syllabus

#

Then you would know how much u need to get on final to pass the class
