Can Profs Legally Record Students Taking Exams?

what if the prof doesn't allow students to take the exam w/o giving consent? is there any kind of workaround?

Is this through zoom?

#

If it’s through zoom it gives you a notification that they are recording

the web traffic part is scary lol

Yea ur pretty much forced into being recorded

#

My Spanish professor would do that to us and do a 3 strike rule and your given an automatic 0 if she thinks your acting weird too much. Aka your camera too high, you mute your mic, your light is off , your eyes are looking not at your screen

#

Unfortunately no work around as it’s school policy I believe. Unless you do the exam in person

No she would legit watch you

#

With her camera off

#

And start yelling at you though the camera if she sees you not looking at it

#

She was nuts
