'Kay so the first time a toon gets invention salvage, it's a popup in the middle of the screen.
It should be one of the red exclamation morks on the right side of the screen. Because those do not risk leaping up on you in the middle of a fight, shouting 'hey buddy! hope you read fast, because I'm blocking your view of the thing trying to part your hair with a sledgehammer!'
