Can anyone suggest a specific microphone (other gear too) that works well for someone who likes to be loud and do outbursts? I’m generally looking for a microphone that can pick up whispering and loud voices without sounding too quiet or too boosted in audio. I’d also like it if the price wasn’t too high for someone my age.

You would need to elaborate on what is “too high” for someone your age

too quiet you can boost in post, too loud look for SPL of >130dB

130 is enough unless you scream in the mics face

Uff this is rough, In general for "loud" performances I prefer using dynamics out of habit (since they're really quiet as is), though Condensers can be fine too. But I dont think you need to worry about this too much anyway, if you're too loud turn down your pre until you don't clip anymore as stupid as it sounds. Ive recorded some loud(ish) bars before mixed in with whispers and even though the whispers were really quiet, they didnt really loose any detail or anything like that and could just be boosted up post recording. So I dont think you need to worry about the microphone itself too much.

For that price I'd in general recommend something akin to a shure SM58S, tho you'd need other gear for that aswell, without any further info on what you're trying to do (voice acting, singing, rapping, General SFX work?)
