everytime I plug the cable from the interface into the USB port from my pc, it works for ten seconds and then it does a weird noise and everything goes silent
I changed cables from the USB c and from the mic cable but that didn't change anything
I changed mics that also didn't change anything
attached little example of what happens (was just making noise at the start so you can tell when it eventually cuts out)

Well my first question is why did you buy the Scarlett Solo
Inexperience
just got it for streaming for the most part and a bit of voice acting!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated though I use it to stream and stuff and now I've just basically had to put a stop to everything because of it :(
did you download the driver?
Yes driver has been downloaded and everything is up to date!
Scarlett solo has issues with this
How old is it?
Focusrite Audio Engineering

Already went through all that didn't help :(
Oh lawdy! Umm... @proper parcel.... are you aware that you are now level 1? You're getting closer to... um.....
.................

got it june 2022
And it just started doing this?
Yeahh it started about a day and a half ago, I also figured out that if i go to the driver and press "restore factory defaults" it works again for like 10secs and then it doesn't pick up anything again idk if that helps make the issue a bit clearer

To me it sounds like it got overheated
The Focusrite do that a lot
Unfortunately there is no fix if it did get overheated
I hate Focusrites
:( so there's nothing I could do to fix it? Even just temporarily for an hour or so?
If it is from being overheated then unfortunately you can't, being overheated permanently damages the audio quality
Based off of the audio I sent does it seem like it's potentially due to overheating?
Do you have a service contract through company for warranty?
