#Celtics @ Bucks - January 11, 2024 (102-135)
1 messages · Page 2 of 1
the only play i was able to see was the final minute 💀
3 minutes into the first or something
actually not even see i had to hear the commentary
I’m so afraid of the Heat tho
FR
WE HAVE DONE RHAT SO MANY TIMES WITH THEM
A 10 point lead with 2 mins left dissapears instantly
That was the greatest shot in modern-day history tho
and it’s always the Heat
if the celtics blew the lead vs the heat with ime they would have been clowned
yeah imo they’re scarier than last year
the celtics were cruising and about to make the finals then all of a sudden jimmy butler had a chance to send the celtics to cancun
maybe if we won the series
tbh it's not even like this was the first time Jimmy has done this
they did lose my two worst nightmares in Max Strus and Gabe Vincent, but now they got that new rookie😭
for me, obviously the celtics can drop a game here or there bc the team is human. but this is a starting lineup of derrick/jrue/JB/JT/KP
i'd genuienly be shocked if someone beats the celtics in a best of 7
oh yeah
lmaooooooooooo
LMAO
even the bucks i don't think so
He gets into the game and flops
forgor we aren’t running with the 2023 roster anymore 💀
bro couldn’t last 10 seconds😭
Thanasis super bowl
Thanasis likes to run the mouth
pause
call it paranoia in me but we don't have the greatest 3rd quarters. i'm probably reading too much into it but i interpret this as, Joe isn't that great at making in-game adjustments, which might be a bigger worry in a series
I think we'd at LEAST put up a fight
i would still take this Celtics team in a Bo7 against any team in the league rn tho
not with JT injured
dude making it to the finals last year
thought we did
might be a casual take but i don't buy too much into the coaching
You mean the team that's getting smashed into a crater at this very moment
obviously you can't win with a bad coach
it’s one bad game
but other than miami i don't see coaching being an issue for the celtics
in the regular season
we're not like
dogshit, but iirc we're in the bottom half
for 3rd quarters? am i misremembering
adrian griffin is lowkey bad
i remember seeing that we were better in q3 this year
yeah i'm fucking lying
If this isn't a scheduled loss then idk what is
Boys are beyond exhausted after last night
my bad
youre good
Last season made me believe in bad omens
you shouldn’t
I genuinely believe coaching is an issue for us, vs Indiana that final play joe could have called a timeout, and we could have got that luke kornet almost tip in with actual time on the clock we literally needed a basket
they just make you stress more
i agree, i think coaching matters for bad teams, but then when you're a good team, very very few coaches can bump u into a great team, and even then it's a very small bump
tbf we ran a similar play against the TWolves last night and it didn't work, it went to OT
missed the tip in and it went to OT
i do think joe is a good coach and i think they can win a chip with him, but if the cs win a chip i don't think it's going to be bc of joe, and same if they lose
might not've been the final possession, but it was late in the 4th i think
One bad game the night after an OT epic against the 2nd best team in the league
I don't see how anyone could look at this game and see it as something bad. They're clearly tired. It happens.
@slate badge
I still like Ime over Joe, but on a scheming level, it looks like some of these coaches are troubling our more trademark strategies, ie attacking the second big. With the teams that haave beaten us, they all show up and outwork us and outscheme us
I think we're definitely tired
Cant win em all
yeah
ah wait i'm not that far off, we're 12th in the league in terms of net rating for 3rd quarters
Uuuuugh
but I really feel like Joe has a role in this nonethelss
Why the hell am I being a doomer
The ‘something bad’ is us getting smashed by 40 points and giving up at half time
Timberwolves are also the best defensive team in the league. They're highly physical and draining. That factors into this too
honestly i still don’t want to root against the bucks
i just don’t think they’re that good anymore
feeling negative about the team happens but don't let it consume you
even with this loss
tbh i don't think the difference between Ime and Joe is that big
the drop off between Brad and Ime/Joe is much larger
I dontthink we've been in this situatuion a single time this season, like we got beaten out of our identity, we'll bounce back but its good to slow down this one and pay attention to why we lost this. I agree with this
i'd take brad as the gm anyday though
undisputedly the best gm in the league
Ey thanasis minutes
"Why does Brad, the GM and one of the best Celtics coaches in recent history, not simply clone himself and do both at the same time?"
um no
lmao, again, to reiterate
this fucking happens to teams man
Warriors got blown out in the record setting season
if belichick is any indication
im kidding
Doesn’t mean getting blown out is good
it's not good, but like, this shit happens
just move on to the next one
if this shit happens two games in a row
and to the rockets
Not overreacting but if Boston does some bullshit by the end of the szn im dating it all back to this game
then it's worrying
Lmao
It's not good but factoring in what happened last night it isn't surprising lol
let's lose by less than 30
He could pull a popovich. Fire the coach and take over himself
Nah back to back and overtime then next day the bucks? This L is well deserved
A b2b vs the Bucks on two days rest
Portland loss against OKC is being much worse than this
It's something lol

lmfaooo
THE BUCKS SHALL NOT ENJOY THEIR WIN BEING OVER 40+ POINTS!
that’s awesome
Thanasis dishing out playoff fouls up 30
celtics could use one more bench scorer
would any team like kornet
also i just looked it up, the '96 bulls got blown out by 32 in a game against the Knicks as well
Thanasis is there because he is really good or just because he is Giannis brother
brother
Thanasis also sound like a Ghost Pokémon lol
"Thanatos", greek personification of death type beat
Does NBA stand for National Blowout Association?
Thanasis is the most untradable bench player in NBA history
lol
for both teams 🙂
51 pt lead?????
Bucks can't give Thanasis up and no fucking team wants Thanasis

Porzingis sounds like a Psychic or Bug type Pokemon lol
Only Giannis wants Thanasis
OKC out here playing 2K on rookie
I don't know if leading by 18 is much of a blowout
Look at POR-OKC
blazers man 😔
LMAO?

Portland XD Blazers
Thunder leading by 58 ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
now i'm not one to pile on to a small business
but this company do be selling the most generic milquetoast midwest looking clothing of all time
THANASIS BLOCKING STUFF LMFAOOOO
guys we're going from the 1 seed down to the 1 seed 💔
well this sucked
depends on your view going into this game
Oh well can't win em all
At least we still have more than 40 games
Hope Celtics find the Best version or themselves
If not, goodbye Championship
i initially and still do have the mindset of this game being a whatever
we on a hellish b2b
damn guys we're still above .700 🥺
Nope, this sucked no matter what your view is

fuck man!!1! we're gonna have 9 losses in the season!!!1!1 why couldn't we have won all 82 games... worrying.......
L
yk whats crazy
L
the bucks are about to win by 30+
L
Hornets and Warriors were almost W
And somehow we managed to lose
L
L
L
L
L
L
and nobody gonna notice because the thunder are fucking demolishing the blazers
I mean, even Brady used to lose a game like this to a random ass shitty team here and there en route to a title. Why not the Celtics losing to a good team en route to a title?
shooting anomaly copium

L from Luigi
