How should the first area be detailed?

I have 2 ideas:

1. Debris-based, objects are scattered all around the room, similar to Nos Astra Phase 4. This works well with the theme however part count would sharply rise and this idea will generally take a lot of time. To combat these issue's I'd have to get Flaxez to work lol.
2. Effect-based, more to do with scripting, similar to Vivid's first room. This will be a lot easier to make but still quite basic and there are still empty spaces in the map. To combat these issue's I could add more structures to fill in empty gaps.
