probably wrong bit version, if your pc is on x64 and if i forgot garry's mod is on x86 aka supporting both bit versions

It shouldn't matter because my pc is on x64 and Garry's Mod is on x32. x32 is backwards compatible with x64.

I got gmod pretty recently and haven't played a lot because pretty much every time I open it, it says "hl2.exe not responding". I have it on Steam and have already tried verifying the files.

I have an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 super, aio cooling, a few fans, 32gb of ram, and an AMD Ryzen 7 3700x. I think that should be enough to run Garry's Mod.
