Im trying to make a short video where i move my character with the physics gun but i dont want to record in first person, i need a camera that records what im doing without moving. I have tried using the render camera but it wont let me use the physics gun while in the camera view.

pretty sure there's toggles/settings that hide the physgun beam, you can just set up a camera, hide the shit, and record with your recording software of choice
there's also this addon for playing back your actions if you don't wanna use a camera, and stop motion helper ofc
