So I followed a tutorial in order to port my custom character ingame (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2851755404), and sure enough he's in. However he's not textured nor shaded and I have no idea how to give him his textures. I know my way around blender and such but VTFEditor is a whole new monster for me, so any help to get him shaded/colored would be appreciated.

No need to recompile unless you want to change the material path.

I'm assuming I just give it a path, then add the materials after the path is made
Or do I make the materials first and then point to that path
