yeah most workshop users do NOT have the attention span to read all of that, especially if it's not directly related to how the addon works
keep it simple, to the point, and short
(and for the love of god do not put a "why install" paragraph into the descriptions unless there's a valid reason to persuade them to use the addon (e.g. another similar addon exists but is worse, the addon fixes problems previously not elaborated upon, etc.))
