hey i am having problem with Gmod and SFM

i was trying to port a model to SFM but weirdly there was no GMA file and i thought ok maybe i just need to launch the game to fix it
nope didn't work
i tried deleting the mod and reinstalling it
and now on Gmod it just says addon failed to download and on the folder page where mods are it just has a folder of the mod but still no GMA or any files

but weirdly the port to SFM is working but the model doesn't work in Gmod

yeah i think i perm broke the mod

since i tried uninstalling it and completely deleting the addon folder from my pc

#

then reinstalling it fresh

#

and it still says download failed

#

so if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know and i will greatly appreciate it

Cant you download it with a external program or even online utility ? Then you could even unpack or decompile and repack compile again if you are really determined.

I like to take extreme measurements if i have confusing situations .

so update i should of said a while ago but i forgot i made this

a fresh install of Gmod fixed my issue

and also when a gma file doesn't show itself when porting Gmod models
