what
i wish it would let me send pics cuz its hard to explain but
when i go to export the mesh and rig it says collection 00.1 and collection 00.2 when i need it to say selected objects (2)
idk if thats a new thing or im doing something wrong
no 💀
you can export collections
as smd or dmx
clip on the object within the collection to export it
would the collections still work when decompiling it because last time it didnt
i used crowbar
but I did nothing...
actually I don't understand
how the fuck collections should work after decompiling
u want me to explain again
its a blender thing
and you are decompiling mdls
when you are IMPORTING the smd file it CREATES a collection
with mesh in it
oh wait wait i was compiling it
that didnt work
im supposed to compile it but its not working
thanks anyways
participation award
is there some error?
or something
when i compile the collection it says error opening the file
so i dont think its supposed to be exported as a collection
what's the difference
tryna figure that out myself
there's no difference
but im following a tutorial and i did it perfectly but for some reason his export options are different then mine
so maybe i fucked up idk
show it
alr

nono
Oh my screen?
💀
no
the point is that these arent what im supposed to get
im supposed to get "selectedobjects"
if your mesh in the collection then it will use its name
you can put it outside if you REALLY want it, but it's better to just rename it
mmm all i need is the mesh and saw hand with the bones to be smd
its not even called "collection"
it's actually pretty weird
u see wim
hmmm idk if thatll work tho but ill try
why not? it's just the smd file name must match what is written in the qc file
and vice versa
also you can try to create collections with correct names and put meshes in them and THEN export smd files
I wonder why it thinks that the mesh is in the collection... maybe some bst incompatibility? old version of blender/bst?..
i hope not but it didnt work :/
