I'm pretty sure it's code in the model

crimson oracle
#

This is the code it contains:

player_manager.AddValidModel( "Catto Boi 64", "models/player/catto64.mdl" )
player_manager.AddValidHands( "Catto Boi 64", "models/arms/catto64arms.mdl", 0, "00000000" )

Hm

#

Have you reinstalled it like uninstall and then reinstall?

#

Or anything like that?

crimson oracle
#

Yep, tried that.

#

I think the reason is because the model files are missing in the folder

#

Most probable cause

Any way how to solve this?

If you got any add-ons that change how dying works (such as making your ragdoll collide with doors and props) get rid of them first. Otherwise, disable every single add-on you got, and enable page-by-page until you start crashing again. Here's some instructions:

  1. Disable every single add-on except the playermodel
  2. Restart the game and test
  3. If it doesn't crash, enable a page of add-ons
  4. Restart the game and test
  5. If it doesn't crash, keep repeating step 3 until it does

Follow this guide, and if nothing else works, grab a crash dump and post it here - maybe a dev can help from there

i forgot these even existed but sure
