Half-life 2+ SNPCs Addon for Gmod Desert Patrol and Arctic patrol combine soldier's don't work

i have installed this addon recently into garry's mod called Half-life 2+ SNPCs which adds more combine stuff into the game. recently i spawned the desert patrol combine and the arctic control combine, but when they shoot the flash of the gun comes out but no bullets are shot and i take no damage. i then got a problem at the top of my screen and when i clicked on the problems menu in the pause screen and scrolled down to the Half-life 2 SNPCs section i saw this: [Half-life 2+ SNPCs] lua/weapons/weapon_vj_hl2_ar2/shared.lua:166: bad argument #1 to 'random' (number expected, got nil)

PrimaryAttack - lua/weapons/weapon_vj_hl2_ar2/shared.lua:166

unknown - lua/weapons/weapon_vj_hl2_ar2/shared.lua:317.

i have no idea what this means but hopefully someone can help me fix this issue.

you may want to report this bug to the mod's author as it doesn't seem to be gmod's issue

Send the error to the comments section of the add-on you linked - not here
The dev almost definitely won't see it here in a thread
If the dev doesn't reply, then it might be best to uninstall the add-on.
