need help so I been using this for a year now no issues booted it up a week ago to get this

What does this do and I will in the morning then I’ll let you know

Changes your dxlevel (which is one of the issues)
Basically the windows's graphical api version.
If it's too old then some features wont work like for example Vertex Shaders
