Hello, do you need help or found a solution?
hello, i still havent found a way to do it :c
I know how to do this, if you want you can send me the model and I can do it
Thanks for the offert, but i would like to learn to do it myself, so i can do it again in the future and stuff c:
бля ну ты ебанат а? я тебе заявку в друзья кинул для чего?!!!
Хуй тебе помогать буду!
no hablo eso compa perdona
here's how to do it:
step 1: in blender, make sure backface culling is enabled
step 2: duplicate the object you want to have the outline
step 3: hide the original model
step 4: select the duplicate model and go into edit mode
step 5: in (face) edit mode, right click and click extrude faces along normals
step 6: move the mouse a slight bit; you don't want your outline to be too big
step 7: press CTRL+I to select the faces inside the duplicate model
step 8: delete selected faces, then press A
step 9: go to mesh and click normals, then click flip
step 10: unhide the original model
it should look something like this (example model used).
Ill try it, thanks c:
so the outline looks good on blender, but the model gets obliterated when i try to put it in gmod
nvm fixed it, thanks for the help 😄
no problem!
you could also do this with called there is a library
wtf
ask ChatGPT
What is there to ask?
how to do it
What to do? I showed two normal and fast methods for creating outlines. One of which is preferable.
woop
i was talknig to the origional guy
probably would be easier using the library tho
what library
More specifically
he can google for himself
i cant remember the name
pretty shure he could find it by searching this discord
You're a wonderful assistant. Use what I don't know what, download where I don't know where.
btw, there were libraries for the glua
in this context, it is not a solution
wasnt talking to you in the first place
and oh look here i searched it and one of the first results is the thing he wanted
I'm sorry if there was any holes in my solution, I didn't have time to double check it
use whatever is better/fastest
