#blender to hammer

ok so basically ive got this blender file and i want to put it into hammer, but i cant figure out how to. how would i best go about doing this? if anyone wants to do it for me i will gladly give you the blend file, but i do want to find out how to do it myself so i can do this myself in the future.

also you get bonus points if you can tell what map im trying to put into gmod by the picture

it's bad idea to modelling a map from Blender to Hammer as it's best to map in Hammer.. but if you still want to do that way then it's best idea imo is to make it into a whole prop and make a simple base map and load the mdl model into that

yeah i saw some posts saying that doing it this way sucks but i see other roblox maps in the workshop and i assume they did it the same way

you need to export it as SMD and use crowbar to decompile it but it's hard as you need phys parts etc

QC file is just a command to tell Crowbar what you would like it to do... like the base model of smd and phys smd and where materials is located etc

If you make it a .MDL know you’ll need to do a complex phys model.

because the source engine is old and isn't designed for that

Making a map you gotta optimize, think about leafs, area portals. brush count. scripting events. Paking the BSP

Gotta make shit convex, displacements. lightmaps

the map looks very blocky, so making it with brushes in hammer wouldn't be hard at all.
