steam interface changes a bunch, and may make the "cogwheel" method outdated in ~3-5 years. I think just going with rightclick>manage>browse local files is the more succinct way to find hammer.

#

or properties, local files, and then click Browse

#

imo the ctrl+n hotkey to make a new hammer level isn't regularly used. prolly fine just to have it as a tooltip tho.

#

it might be a good idea to explain how to bring up an entity's properties early; you can double click prop_static entities to bring up entity properties. it also works for all other point entities, and you can change an entity's class with the property window.

ye. you can also rightclick a brush face with the face edit window open to apply a texture. which you mention a few minutes later on, after you've hollowed the hallway out and describe a leak.

#

I also see the alt+rightclick trick used around 12:36, and that you can copy-paste keyvalues from the light's brightness into brightnessHDR

#

-1 -1 -1 -1 means copy the colors from Brightness ofc

#

leak explained a second time 15:55 (eh, redundant but i'll pass)

#

Overall I think planning out and rehearsing the topics you want to cover could make the quality of the video that much better; make a recording of those rehearsals so you can check where you might need to improve, revise, or re-record something.
