When I'm playing with a friend in the sandbox mode, we always start experiencing lag spikes or keep teleporting left and right, but when we're playing seperately in singeplayer servers it's perfectly fine. Is there any way to fix this?

We don't play in public servers. We only play on the normal 2 player sandbox mode. Like how you can choose 'start multiplayer game'.
