#Steam Workshop::GLua Package Manager

Don't find an issue in dependency resolving.
Plus your library make changes in standart functions (and there is even no list of changes), what possibly (not likely to happen I guess but still) can cause unpredictable behavior just because of packet manager
Also find it kinda useless. I don't think a lot of people except you will make packages for it.
And when there is only few of packages that package manager supports, it's useless.
Maybe even it's less time consuming to copy code you need from package and paste it than installing package manager and adding package.
Maybe it's not bad when you use it for your own project but don't find it useful for other people
This is incorrect, you probably did not look at the packages created on its basis, dependencies are now formed automatically and quite convenient. The lists and documentation will come later, I actually develop this package manager by myself so don't be cheeky. The changes I make are designed to fix problems in the game and can't break anything, and if you don't understand why it's being done, that doesn't mean it's a bad thing.
Who gave you the right to speak for everyone "Mr. big shot", I made this package manager for everyone including myself, not for you. Good luck with downloading and copying code from a billion libraries while I install the package manager and the add-on I need and get all the dependencies automatically.
I meant no code is protected from bugs. Even code that designed to fix problems.
Also I don't think package manager is a correct place for "fixes" (at least if they can't be disabled without code change)
I wouldn't do them if everything was working properly.
I don't speak for everyone, you asked me reason and I said my opinion. Don't start holy war, I don't consider me a source of truth or anything like it. It's just my subjective opinion
I just didn't had issues with deps in Garry's Mod to have need to use package manager
-_- you literally said that my package manager is garbage and nobody needs it but me.
And? As I said I'm not consider myself source of truth. In my eyes it's appears to be so but I can't say from everyone perspective so I don't try. Any other can disagree with me and I don't mind about it
I can congratulate you on that, but that just means that you're the one who hasn't done big enough and complex enough projects in your life, it doesn't mean that anyone else won't need it.
Meh. Think how you want. I used package managers for other languages but not for gmod (and don't want and can't see any need)
So if you don't feel the need for something then you put a reaction on it that you "vomit", I wonder, i.e. those millions of nextbots interest you a lot?
Man, you took that emoji too personal. Changed it, calm down :p. No, nextbots don't interest me.
Yes, it's much better, and yes I take criticism to heart if they criticize things I've spent a lot of time on.
bro really went crazy over an emoji
Personally I never use libraries like these. Most of the time they act more as bloat for my server/addon than actual useful code
while I don't think the extent of the defensiveness is warranted, I think it's fair to want to know why someone thinks a project you spent time on is bad
