could not load file 'Whisper.smd'
seems pretty obvious, it can't find the file
remember, qc scripts are relative (the smd file needs to be in the same folder starting from the qc file)

now it says “Whisper.qc(39): - could not load file ‘ragdoll’”
nvm fixed it
now it says

i dont got error outputs in my brain yet but by guessing rn so i am probably wrong
i think its your collisions qci
unless you have everything in the qc

ok when you get into hlmv via the view bottom in crowbar you need to replace the limits that i removed

Collisionmodels are low-poly meshes that tell the game where the boundaries of a model are, physics wise.
In Garrysmod the collisionmesh is also the one thing the Physgun grabs onto when moving a model.

i wonder how many people will ask for help on making playermodels until a proper actual tutorial is eventually made
everything people have is outdated incomplete guides, so it's no wonder nobody has a clue how to do this proper
@random oriole sorry to ping, but where are you on your issue? did you find a way to solve it or do you still need help, and if so, help on what exactly? this thread is pretty large so catching up isn't too easy
we just need to to the collision models and fix up the weight painting a bit but i kinda stopped doing this one
ill probably start doing it again soon
