How do I get the map file from a downloaded map

I have downloaded a map but idk where the main map file went, how I extract it?
The map name is "gm_freddypizzanights" I also looked into the map files.

Decompiling a .bsp is going to break the map massively

You will have to spend a lot of time manually fixing it

Either ask the maps creator for the .vmf or be prepared to use a decompiler and fix the problems

isn't there a easier way of doing that? I always just had the map in the maps folder this is new too me tbh that it is like that

To be fair it’s very minor, it doesn’t break that much

As long as you aren’t decompiling a southside or a large map with insane amounts of detail

The most detailed map I’ve successfully decompiled and recompiled with minimum effort was rp_dunwood

Do it over 50 otherwise your whole system will be transparent

I actually made some changes I used a different Windows Iqon

Usually my Desktop is clean but rn I had to make stuff anyways i currently searching for a new wallpaper etc. May i'll find some more crazy stuff
