verify integrity of game files shat itself

i removed some of the ingame files attempting to fix a certain problem, but they never recovered after i verified integrity of game files, now i'm stuck with missing texture squares instead of gunshot decals

does anyone know how to fix it

Reinstalling is in a matter of fact a good solution

i did a whole ass factory reset and verified integrity of game files again

it didn't return my gunshot decals

Run the game with -noworkshop -noaddons after factory reset

Factory reset does not reinstall the game, but clears your cache and settings that usually cause problems for users

that didn't help unfortunately

there’s no conceivable way the game should be messing up on an absolutely clean install of the game that has no addons
