I've been trying to change my pm but every time I use my kill key bind or use a rocket it just crashes my game, does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix this?

Does the game always crash, no matter how you die, or only in those situations that you listed?

You can find it either in steamapps/common/garrysmod or in the crashes folder inside that folder.
Does the crash still happen with no addons enabled?

No I don't crash with no addons, so it has to be something in there doing it

You have to find your crash dump first. Crash dumps are made whenever gmod exits with no warning.

at this point you unsubscribe from all addons uninstall the game and start from scratch
it's called cleaning up the addons folder
