im done with kizumonogatari
||definitely my favorite mono book so far, it had a much more serious tone than the previous 3 books of bakemono, which was a nice change of pace, the humour was as unhinged as i thought, but now ive come to terms with ts and enjoy it a lot
it explained A LOT about shinobu and why araragi is like araragi as a whole.
the fights were surprisingly good. While they were not as hype as jjba fights or any other action shounen fight, they were still entertaining at the very least.
genuinely loved the ending, i expected a kinda worse ending than what was delivered(worse as in sadder, and not poorly written) due to araragi explicitly saying in the prologue that the ending would be a sad one.
the funniest part about the entire series was the insane amount of underwear jokes, MAN, these highschoolers are crazy.
Having read the third book of bakemono i can also now kinda understand WHY hanekawa helped my boy, and i think araragi should dump senjogahara and elope with hane.
screw senjo, shes a bum istg.
Oshino was like oshino, yk the regular ol' chad that he is, and it was nice knowing where this man came from into araragi's life. I would definitely like to read more about his backstory but ig ill have to read the other books for that😒

I also feel like you've gotta read more to understanding why araragi and hanekawa couldn't really be together. I remember being as frustrated as you are since I felt that hanekawa was basically made to jump in there and take the MCs main interest, but there's a lot about how araragi views hanekawa that might skew your opinion in later books like both nekomonogatari novels|| kizumonogatari
