Demon Slayer IS bland

I mean, the plot is super boring, bland and repetitive, it’s always the same thing happening in every season; training, then fighting, training then fighting, nothing new happens, even other battles shonen are not that bland and shallow.

The characters are one of the worst thing; they are all 1 dimensional and cringe, they can all be described with 1 or 2 traits, Tanjiro is just the kind hearted and brave hero with no other characteristics, Inosuke is just the angry dude who wanna fight and Zenitsu is the pervert coward who… become stronger once he sleep? But the worst is Nezuko, she doesn’t have a personality, she’s literally a pure plot device and nothing would change if she was a dog. The demons are lame as well.

The death scenes are not that impactful either, take ||Rengoku for example; not only he didn’t appear a lot, but we also barely knew anything about him before his death, he was not even close to any of the main characters, his only role was being the hashira of the movie, there’s also the fact that he was willing to kill Nezuko before but suddenly, he want to protect her and Tanjiro? His death really lack depths.||

The fact that no except the Demon Slayer knows about Demons is just stupid.

The world building is so weak, almost nonexistent, it’s just a country that looks like Japan in the past but we know nothing about it.

Last but not least; the cringe and stupid comedy that never made me laugh.

There are other reasons as well, but I just can’t remember since there are a LOT of reasons.

Demon Slayer IS overrated.

Oh and before anyone makes wrong assumptions:

-No, I don’t dislike Demon Slayer just cause it’s popular, some of my favorite animes are Vinland Saga, AOT, HxH, Monster, Naruto and Violet EverGarden, and those are very popular.
