Okay so, I've only done the fate route,
||The ending was very bittersweet and definitely a really good one objectively
I liked how shirou actually was able to pull up when everything mattered
I realized that while a happy ending is enjoyable
A good one doesn't have to always be one where everything is good
I've heard that ubw and hf completely blow away these and am looking forward to them
Personally, I would rather have the fate route end at the date night and then have the rest of the game for a sequel probably
Since I wanted saber and shirou to be together
Overall, the transition of shirou from a cuck to a person others could rely on was very satisfying and there was plenty of lore for each servant that got me reeling
Few things that kinda ticked me off tho:
-I feel like shirou forgave illya too easily
She shouldve faced some repercussions for what she did to other masters
-I also feel like the death of shinji was very... Un-cathartic
Like they just shoved it in our faces and told us to move on
-one other thing is the artstyle, which kinda pmo
But I understand that this vn is very old and so Im not as bothered||
