What's the domain?
oh...the www might be an issue...why not just have the app be at uncoverit.org?
can you create a CNAME record to point _acme-challenge.www.uncoverit.org to www.uncoverit.org?
errr
point it to h4uphi665k6gsvawz4.fastly-validations.com.
We use cloudflare to permanently redirect everyone from root to www. Changing it might cause problems for browsers.

@potent jacinth i have an issue with another domain:
It's more common to not use the www these days
yeah but we've been on www since over a year now
changing it can cause seo issues
Did you change anything regarding this domain in cloudflare after the initial setup? Has proxy always been disabled?
nope
i only removed the site and re-added it
i cant even delete it
the domain
it shows the same error
for some reason it was failing some checks. i force retried the cert generation and it should be good now
www.uncoverit.org is fine
im getting an issue on bot.uncoverit.org
Rule with the requested ID could not be found. Please check if the ID provided is correct or if the rule actually exists.
Your cert is working fine
Oh wait
Ugh...
What are you doing to get this error?
the retry button
i cannot even delete the domain
Deleting and recreating stuff may have caused things to get into an inconsistent state
Under site custom domain?
yes
project id: 694accd0001bc8f17782
site id: 694acda70038b1fc3131
weird...all this looks right...im not sure why you're getting that error
can you check the network logs to see the details about the network request?
what's the active deployment?
sure
sorry for replying so late
i dint see a ping
patch at /verification endpoint
and what's the URL and the params passed?
deployment id: 694acdb4ecf010097729
what about request headers?
other than the usual, theres cookie, cors and added appwrite headers.
yes please share the appwrite headers
X-Appwrite-Mode: admin
X-Appwrite-Project: 694accd0001bc8f17782
X-Appwrite-Response-Format: 1.8.0
x-sdk-language: web
x-sdk-name: Console
x-sdk-platform: console
x-sdk-version: 1.10.0
ya correct project id...
i think the issue is that the domain hasnt been registered in appwrite as a 'rule'
so when i ask it to verify, it returns there is no such 'Rule'
nor can i delete it as according to the backend, there is no rule
it was still in the cache. I've cleared it from cache. please try again
its always a cache problem 😭
yup it works
tyy

Best to leave it
