"Triggering a function on a function event is not allowed"

Selfhosted. v1.5.8.

Why is this not allowed? ID is from a different function. Screenshot is from the event trigger menu and according to the doc https://appwrite.io/docs/advanced/platform/events it should work. Is this intended?

I assume that is in place to prevent some infinite loop but is the whole function event trigger disabled by default then?
