I encountered an error at http://localhost:3000/register on the Appwrite console

Hi, good morning and good evening. I have a problem again. I encountered an error while running http://localhost:3000/. I followed @stray parrot steps to create an env file in the repo. When I tried to make a dummy account to replicate this bug (https://github.com/appwrite/console/issues/1153#issuecomment-2192770455), I got an error during signup: NetworkError attempting to fetch resource. I recorded the process on a video.

i tried to look on the inspect / network tab and i think the issue is CORS error on my end

@stray parrot i checked if my firewall is enable and its disabled and remove the add blockers on my browser and i can't reach to http://localhost/

Do you have a local instance of Appwrite installed and running?

Hi, sorry for my late response. Due to a power shortage in my area, I haven't installed a local instance of Appwrite. I only cloned the appwrite/console repo

That's why you can't connect to http://localhost

If you want to use Appwrite, you install it per the self hosting instructions I shared.

If you want to contribute and modify the source code, you have to follow the contributing guide
