What does it look like, a video or pic would help visualize
Sure Sending it
Video not allowed to share I gues
okay done Sharing to you
check it @desert crown
what keyboard layout do you have set?
Means?
Is it what you mean to?
@desert crown toggle is set to G
and using it on windows
not changed the key cap but yea I will do that soon
changing key cap won't do anything
What language do you have your keyboard layout set to on your pc, I use English(US) for example
same here - set to English US
alright. yea not sure then, was working for me when holding down fn and pressing home to cycle. @cinder iris is this identical to the ones we have in hand right now at render?
Yes, they should be the same
Where can i get this keyboard lol?
not yet available for purchase, would be later this year. afaik maybe available if there's a giveaway.
This was a special giveaway done during Init earlier this year
Sir then why not working 🥺
@gray kernel can you verify if your FN key works otherwise?
How do I? @cinder iris
Try a combination of fn key shortcuts
like on a mac i can hit fn + f12 to open dev tools. fn + f12 on windows might be volume
What does it mean?
I didn't understand. What it will do?
You need to test if the fn key actually works
Sure
I'll do
Will do tmrw in morning for sure and let you know about that. As here in India it's 9:13PM so yea sleeping time
I just try it
Btw the function keys are working directly without pressing fn.
Looks likes it's locked - fn key. How unlock it and use?
@desert crown
@cinder iris ??
Typically pressing the Fn + Esc key unlocks it. Is that something you can try?
@cinder iris
@austere wren any chance we can check with our vendor if they have specific instructions for unlocking the Fn key on the keyboard?
Please.
Let's take a look at the key:
Using the keycap & switch puller tool included in the box, remove the keycap and then the switch under it.
To remove the switch, with the tool which has the 2 prongs, at the top & bottom of the switch are 2 little latches, just squeeze them together and pull up. The switch should just pull out of the slot.
Here is a video guide showing how, the tool being uses is a different shape but the process is the same: https://youtu.be/708jap0rgG0?t=72
Once the switch is out, please send a photo of the pins on the switch and the socket in the keyboard.
Swap your mechanical Keyboard Switches easily. Today I have shown how easily you can swap your Mechanical Keyboard Switches. It takes about a few seconds to open the switch but is tough to place. So watch this tutorial carefully.
