Phone auth, not receiving OTP sms

HELP ... I am using the phone auth functions as provided in the docs to request for the OTP sms, the smss aint coming through.

I tried upgrading the appwrite SDK from 11.0.1 to the pre-release version 12.0.0-rc.4.
and the Pre-release version doesn't have the " account.createPhoneSession() and the account.updatePhoneSession() " functions, they are not available.

using the 11.0.1, I am getting the userId from the session token, just not the OPT smss.

The are not working for me, 10.0.1, 11.0.0 and 11.0.1. I do clear cache with flutter clean as well.

I don't get errors in the debug console either

i see successful delivery for the number you sent. I can't tell what exact time from what you shared because i don't know your timezone.

I am not receiving the OTP sms, the number is showing up in the console waiting to be verified, but the smss with the OTP code are not reaching me. I have tried using different numbers, but to no avail. I will just try again later

I've faced this issue before, the reason for that for me, that the telecom company in my country blocked twilio and other services to force us to use their sms api, when i check Twilio, the message has been sent, but I didn't received it, the solution for me it to use selfhosted with custom sms api.

Jesus to the rescue ... I have indeed tried sending to a foreign number, and other telecom service providers, they are receiving the otp smss. it's just this one service provider that's not working. Thanks for the tip

For example, in our country, they use this api to send sms, how can I use it for authentication in appwrite?
