Hello All,

I have current installed a web control panel on my domain's server. I want to host my website on the main domain. But at the same time I want to install appwrite on a sub-domain.

Basically example.com would have my website but app.example.com would have the appwrite as the backend.

I tried to install appwrite and chose app.example.com as the hostname but the installation failed because the website is active on port 80 and 443.

Some experienced advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks & Regards

hi @hallow raft Are you using same server/VPS for both, your website and appwrite ?

# hallow raft Yes

are you using any kind of reverse proxy? if not then you can use NPM(Nginx Proxy Manager) and run Appwrite behind it.
