Hi everyone,
sadly got a huge problem since about a few weeks ago. Can't create or join online lobbies ('Error while creating lobby').
First I hoped it would fix itself with the next update, but sadly, it didn't. Tried everything from the steam-community-thread but nothing seems to work. (Even turning off firewall completely)
Logs from today and yesterday attached.

You're getting SSL errors :/
@elder raptor Can you open this site?
https://api.epicgames.dev/
sadly notz
Do you get an SSL error or Forbidden?
Is your system time up to date?
Are you using an VPN?
No vpn and automatically synced system clock
Right now, I do. While testing i switched it off
@elder raptor Can you run this in a local comandline (CMD) and send me the output?
curl -v https://account-public-service-prod03.ol.epicgames.com/account/
@elder raptor I added also more debug functionality on the experimental branch. Can you switch to the experimental branch and add
++ --eos-verbose
as command line (starting option) in Steam?
Then again I'd like to check out the log π
Sadly also doesn't work for creating an online-lobby
Yeah it's more about the logs
Sorry. Right xD
First off this one:
And those are the logs from running the experimental-version with the command
Some seem to be able to solve this turning on a certain feature of their AV
@elder raptor are you using Norton or Avast by chance?
Sadly not. I'm still with kaspersky π
Disabling Kaspersky also doesn't help?
trying with AV and firewalls disabled
Sadly still not running. Trying tomorrow with the stackoverflow-Posts
Uploading logs
T20.16.37 is on current patch. T20.15.09 should be on experimental
Both with AV completely shut down and all firewalls deactivated
Hi again.
Ran another try with the command-line with deactivated AV and firewall and got this:
Maybe it helps π
Also more logs with those same options standing.
That looks much better
@elder raptor The game seems still not able to connect.
Can you open this: https://api.epicgames.dev/sdk/v1/default?platformId=WIN ?
It seems to be exactly this here: https://eoshelp.epicgames.com/s/question/0D5QP00001fkq6A0AQ/rare-certificates-issues-on-eos-11713?language=en_US
Weirdly I can indeed see the full JSON (even with AV and Firewall activated)
Still going to install epic-Launcher to see if the certificated can be loaded in doing so.
Hasn't worked either.
Also tried other games mentioned in that thread and have no problems there.
Sorry for being complicated π
Mhh that is good to know
Can you open the folder where the Unrailed2.exe resides (browse files in Steam), then manually remove all files there.
Then verify files via steam s.t everything gets restored
Just to make sure everything is clean
Also are you very sure the encrypted network scan is turned off (https://support.kaspersky.com/KIS/2019/en-US/157530.htm ) ?
The Epic Game Launcher is running and working, right?
yep
removed and restored
Encryption is deactivated
trying to run on experimental version
'error while creating a lobby'
Running another test with the live version
still no..
And I really went down to triple-check the options. Firewall is down, AV is down, no checking for encryption in the settings etc.
Okay. Got it.
I really don't know what happened.
Another reset made it work o.O
Live-version is running online!!
Even WITH running AV and firewall now π
I'm absolutely confused, what the heck happened... but thanks soo much for your time and help either way!!
Hey no worries! Thanks for reaching out to us π
