Yea, I like bosses difference in difficulty
- Mole, which can be deactivated by a water bucket ONLY
- Spider, which can be countered by not moving at a specific moment, or a torch cartridge

you need to scout the correct path in advance for this boss
do not lay tracks before you're sure the ground will not collapse on you
I thought it is supposed to be like that, but imo worm boss appears to be really rng broken. You might do everything right, and it will rip appart all of the valid routes and force you to lose.
just imagine that the whole map is filled with bedrock
you'll crash if you connect your tracks into a bedorck

so your first task is to locate those 'bedrocks' first
bedrock is already in the game, and you can judge it from afar. worm boss is different mechanic because it can screw you even if you leave space. I wish I had a screenshot but I had a session where I was missing like 4 tracks to finish and it broke remaining space to the station - making it impossible to connect
From the look of it your path goes through the water
We're improving the mechanics with the next version to make deadlocks less likely and if they happen the mistake should be clearer
