same problem. following
+1 halp. need trains.
Was it working with the version before for you in case you tried it?
yes!
didn't manage to try before the patch unfortunately
We see what we can do. We're out of office unfortunately and no macs at home
no worries, enjoy your weekend ๐
We try to make a new build:)
if I can help providing any sort of logs let me know!
@late oar if you could start the game via command line that would be helpful indeed
@late oar @zinc pawn @elder brook @foggy burrow
in case the new build doesn't fix it
Not sure on mac ๐
You have to somehow navigate to it in a terminal
I only see run.sh
Looks like it's running from steam!
./Unrailed2Playtest.command ++ --debug
@zinc pawn the --debug will prevent the forced restart via steam
that seems like the wrong folder ๐
yeah let me see where this is installed for real haha
I think you can just verify files and try starting again
Okay it seems like the issue was fixed ๐
Lukas just pushed a hotix
hell yeah it is working โค๏ธ
Thanks for the feedback!
(also found where it is installed and got access to it, if you need any debug let me know)
We only need sleep now โ๏ธ๐
๐ next time. This one was an educated guess on what could have been the issue ๐
haha get some rest guys, this game is awesome
yup things are looking good so far uwub
Winodws 11. Game doesn't boot. Putting "--debug" in the boot option on Steam didn't change anything. I had the playtest installed, I have uninstalled that and re-installed the demo. Still no dice.
And the playtest worked for you?
Yup! Not problems at all
Can you send us the
%appdata%\godot\app_userdata\Unrailed2\logs\godot.log
file ?
Demo just throws the screen and crashes out.
one moment please ๐
@cunning solstice that work?
I was hoping to play today. Took the day for it ๐ฎ
Can you start with
--rendering-driver d3d12
as command line argument (set in steam)?
@wind coral
@cunning solstice First boot took longer, maybe 30 second, then crashed. Second boot just crashed
Updated log
Should we start a new thread for this?
no its fine
can you overwrite this file in your game folder and see if it runs then?
Starting via steam
with "--rendering-driver d3d12" as boot option or remove?
Remove all options for that
Okay thanks!
(Hiring any playtesters? lol)
๐
I used to work for Google and a few other tech companies out in the vally ๐ I know how this works. LMK how else I can help. Should I revert to the old one>
Can you verify files and try once more (this should already revert the bat) and start without any arguments via steam again
Did you start with
++ --debug
once ?
I posted in the other thread, same issue "++ --debug" in steam does make it work tho
that worked
I see
