Please make borders of the map a perfect rectangle. I got this run ruined because we thought we can go to the south and place railroad, but it was only void. It was night + colors of the map have not permit to understand that it is a "no go zone" until we discover more the map. Especially with the fog, we couldn't see the path upward until the railroad was already placed. It probably applies to all the biomes.
For more context we were at a train station and we had to make a quick decision, so farming the map in advance was not a option. I personally thought it would have be at least a "2 ways" structure because the map was only hard.

Please have at least 3 squares in front of the train be available. we spawned with a 1 wide river into a forest and could not build a bridge, place down the tracks, and chop a path in time.

I feel the water and the void in this biome are too similar to each other. I have mistaken the void for water quite a few times, especially during the spider boss fight.

Yeh same. Feel it needs 10% more trees. On areas with a lot of bedrock and in the dark it's a bit punishing to go the wrong way

Some of the sprouts/weeds looked like something I can chop (like a semi chopped tree) and I just stood by it with an axe just waiting for something to happen. Maybe make it a different color or something?

For the spider boss fight, I think the amount of webs it shoots is too much, especially if you don't have the fire cartridge. My first run playing with my friend, we did not have the fire cartridge and attempting to do anything was almost impossible. On our second run, one of us managed to get a fire cartridge, but even with it, it was still difficult to pass the level.

I still feel the handbook needs a similar station in the main menu as the jukebox

Agreed. It took me a while before I realized there even was a handbook. Until I came to discord or had found the handbook I probably wouldn’t have figured out that the spider only webs if you make noise/move

I kept seeing "such and such added to handbook" but I didn't know how to access it until a while after when I was randomly scrolling through the settings menu.
And I didn't know the spider attacked movement until thoroughly reading the book a while after.
