Off screen I did some analysis on Bod's heights, because I wanted to try and figure out what the %s actually mean in 'real scale' and I basically came out with this image.
Now, to explain my thought process:
- I took screenshots of Zelat at all heights (from 110% to 90%)
- I drew a line starting from his hand towards the tip of his Heavy Falx, and then I overlayed each line to create a Curve.
My assumption was that the Heavy Falx is your usual Greatsword, and your average Greatsword is 6ft in height.
-
I then plotted my lines and created a Curve, discovering that from 106% towards 110% is where the Curve reaches its highest Peak, which means that 106% has a slightly larger value than 104% compared to the difference between 104% and 102%
-
I then took a Riverman (which is basically your average Braryrian citizen turned soldier) and kept randomizing them and checked the % heights, and I found that the average is between 96% and 102% and I took the closest Average of that which is 98%
So I concluded that 98% is 5ft 7.
96% is 5ft 6
94% is 5ft 5
92% is 5ft 4
90% is 5ft.
Why is 90% 5ft while the other %s are only an inch of difference?
Well, the Curve shows that the difference between 90% and 92% is actually higher than 92% and 96%.
And if you look again at the Curve, the difference between 90% and 92% is near symmetrical to the difference between 110% 108% and 106% compared to 104% and 102% and 100%
Which MEAAANS:
104% could mean 6ft.
106% be 6ft 2
108% be 6ft 3
And 110% be 6ft 4
AND if we look inside the game and compare Musqus (who is at 110% height) and compare him to other characters...we get these results.
Zelat Duras 104%
Tsarcaspu 102%
Zatez 100%
