Art that I've done for a worldbuilding project while at school. Also serves as my historical arms and armour study (which trust me I'll use for some fan-art soon) since it's convenient. Will probably post an updated follow-up with characters too if I can finish them since these are months old.

Characters/scenes I've drawn + a Dacian falxman I drew on my phone. Updates to the study are still being finished since I moght as well post them at their completion.
4 largely outdated designs thanks to being far too basic or overcomplex. Romano-Parthian, Kyivan-Ostrogothic, Anglo-Norse and basically just Macedonian styles of armour.
I forgot to post uncropped versions of the scrapped pages lol. Hard to read cus my handwriting's shit and my phone cam is shittier, good luck lmao. Most of the lore there is still accurate the designs are what I want to change drastically (especially the firelances that I drew as shotguns and the overly plain Macedonian style.)
thats just amazing
Pixel art of this worldbuilding project that was mostly just me trying to make the Bad North artstyle but complex. These are Hjilang warriors from the summoned free men(Azadram), raiders/soldiers(Kdzaro) and oathed bodyguards(Juzro). Yes I am trying to make a language and no it has not gone too well aside from naming conventions.
Se honse
If you follow my fan-art box you'd notice that I still draw tunics in red with green or blue highlights and nearly nothing else
still epic
the shields looks pretty good
like a realistic shield
with a grossor
and the armor for the juzro looks like a yoroi (samurai armor) but looks realistic too
bro it looks so good
Keep up the good work man
Yeah I used O-yoroi for inspiration in the shoulders but I think I made them too small in comparison to real ones(bro they're like small shields wtf), and then used Rus lamellar for the textures and chest
Yhe long maille tunic is mostly inspired from medieval english armour, but there's so many long maille types it's probably not distinct unless I add in the decorative V shapes the northern europeans used.
If I were to make proper Samurai armour, since I have a faction inspired by them too, I'd probably go with yellows and burgundy for the colours
Made a Hjilang mercenary working under the Arditan city states in Heroforge. I wanted more Boeotian style helmets but gladiator helms work well to show they adapted the local gear, proper long sleeved maille only doesn't exist but they have decals that look close enough.
These soldiers come from the Thaelu, a group of Oyyunic-Hjilang mix like the Anglo-Norse Danelaw. They're on the west bank of a river and on the other side are their competitors the Rhaelu, long story short, sucession crisis + bad geography split the kingdom in half since they're not centralised enough and both banks basically did a Caroligian lol.
Just some tips: The Tokugawa clan had yet to be founded in the 13th century and O-yoroi often had 4 kusazuri in a box-like shape but other than that the armour looks great 👍
