#Raging Killer

The only problem I see with this is that it wouldn't change much mechanically. Objects can only have one set of fingerprints so the killer's prints would still be on the weapon. And if they left it/took it with them, it would function the exact same as the normal game does. The only thing this would change is that you wouldn't be able to use the black market weapons dealer store records.
but the game already dosent make sense, the only fingerprints on the gun are the owners, not the sellers.
??? How does that NOT make sense? If you bought a gun in real life, chances are you will touch it and get your prints all over it. Of course the sellers prints aren't on there, that makes zero sense from a gameplay perspective.
what u js said is that the owner (not the seller) will get lots of prints on it,but there's at least gotta be 1 print of the seller on there, which isnt there.
No because that would just cause the player confusion. And then once you figure out that every gun has the prints of the seller on it, you can just basically ignore it. It wouldn't make sense after you deal with it the first time.
same goes with the killer, the person who owns the gun is probably not going to touch it that much, assuming its a self defense weapon they keep in their pocket, but a killer holding the gun with 2 hands will put more prints on it.
logically speaking.
It still just wouln't make sense in the game. There's too many things that would need to change in the game in order to have this one feature that honestly doesn't really make much sense and wouldn't change anything gameplay wise other than confuse the player.
I can agree that having more than one set of prints on something would make the challenge of the game better, but having criminals steal a gun from someone just to go through the same process if they bought it, doesn't make sense. It would change maybe 1 step of your investigation if at all.
